HEAD COACH - PERFECT LAP PERFORMANCE ACADEMY
Torin “Canadian Tornado” Collins; once you see him race you will understand the moniker.
Torin has been riding since the age of 4 and is one of the most internationally experienced racers in Canada and he’s only 20!
He lived in Europe full-time to train and race in the most competitive feeder series on the planet. From hours on mini bikes in the training paddock to winning a national title CSBK Supersport title in 2025 he is still hungry.
For 2026 he will be onboard the Altus Racing Team Yamaha R9 and fighting for the podium in the insanely competitive MotoAmerica Superpsort Series.
In preparation for the season and between race rounds Torin will be working as the Head Coach for the Perfect Lap Performance Academy at Rocky Mountain Motorsports track.
His coaching program has been developed by tailoring the most effective training programs that he has used internationally with an overall approach based on the students end goals and personal expectations. From new track rider to international racer, Torin has the experience and training tools and support from our team and facility to help you advance and achieve your riding and racing goals.
David Walker #36
HEAD OF PERFORMANCE
PERFECT LAP was founded and built as a passion project to grow track riding and racing in Canada by David Walker. His vision and mandate is to welcome all new riders and racers to the track and to grown our sport through rider support and technical training and coaching. With a world cup DH MTB racing career and professional racing background and a successful business career international wine business David understands that true elite performance is build on many key pillars developed over time. He has developed a our coaching program with input from some of the top racers and coaches in the world and it is delivered by our highly experienced team of coaches and measured by data and defined by results. From strength and fitness training to mini moto laps at the practice facility, David has assembled a program that can be tailored to help all riders and racers attempt to achieve their track riding and racing dreams. David is currently a Corporate Member at Rocky Mountain Motorsports, Vice President of the Calgary Motorcycle Roadracing Association and owner of Fine and Rare Wines and one of Canada’s most experienced wine experts.
Patrick Wisler #27

Patrick Wisler is our soft spoken “I lead by example” HIGH PERFORMANCE DIRECTOR. Growing up in Switzerland Patrick raced at a top level in European Cup level for 20 plus years. He has raced more bikes and more laps than even he can remember. Moving to Canada ten years ago he became a member at the Area 27 racetrack to continue his love of the sport and now has also become a Canadian citizen! With his wife Andrea they now own NA CORSE near Vancouver BC which is a high performance motorcycle retail store and service centre with a love for Ducati's. They also own Mithos NA which is a custom made to measure track day and race suit company. Patrick provides highly technical advice and coaching for our racers and private clients. As Patrick always says “OTFT”!!
Lincoln Scott
JR DEVELOPMENT INSTRUCTOR
Lincoln is our young gun on the team. He started racing at the age of six and hasn’t looked back. In 2025 he was the first Canadian to podium n International GP races in Europe in decades. In 2024 he was FIM Canada Mini GP Champion and his goal for 2026 is to become the first Canadian to win an international GP class championship in the modern format. Lincoln is a fixture at the track and wizard on the small bikes. We all take great pride in his work ethic and successes and especially when we “reminds” plenty of adults that think they’re fast just what pure racer speed is!!
Connor Nordquist
Connor has an eye for speed and style. Building on his social media and creative design business he has become a fixture at the race track and in our industry. From track day rider photos, to on-bike video coaching filming, to developing corporate media packages and experiential videos he covers all aspects of motorsport media and marketing. .Connor is our media source when he’s not racing his R6!!
Christian Ng
Christian by day owns a security company and is the master of anything technical. He is the only team member that knows every working detail of the track facility. This has helped greatly as we have implemented our Race Analyse data tool to our coaching program. Always game to jump in where needed he is an integral part of our racing community. He found our sport later in life and has gone from racing in the dirt 7 years ago to setting his goal to race at a radracing CSBK national in 2026. His progression, speed and love for the sport is inspiring to see.
Vern Runge #151
Vern may just be the nicest racer in the world until he puts on the helmet!! His love and commitment for the sport is contagious to everyone that has the pleasure of meeting and riding or racing with him. He has build a full pre training schedule in the USA for this season as he competes in the Western Canadian Championship. He is also targeting CSBK in the future and we are luck to have him on our team and as a member at Rocky Mountain Motorsports.
Beth Conacher #33
We met Beth at a track event when she blew our minds with her effortless natural talent. 2026 is her first year racing and we know she is destined for a very bright future in the sport. Her love of motorcycles is evident in everything she does and we are here to support her fully. She is also our in-house race bodywork professional painter if you want your bike to look extra professional.
